A Group 12 race night tonight with 8 drivers competing. Once again, Bob was on form making TQ with a 3 lane total of 115.02 from Chris a lap back on 114.10. Corky took 3rd spot and Kev 4th, with some weird handling problems. A welcome return for Woody who couldn’t get his car working properly and he lined up in the B final with Mike, Trev and Mick.

Everyone seemed to have some sort of problem during the evening and this was evident in the B final. Trev made the best of it to take the win with a modest 34.00 laps from Mick in 2nd on 32.27, Mike 3rd with 29.33 and Woody trailed in 4th with 28.00.

The A final was a much more competitive race but Bob proved unbeatable and gradually pulled away from Chris throughout the race and ran out a comfortable winner with a more representative total of 38.37 laps on Red lane. Chris was just over a lap back in 2nd with 37.33. Kev retired early after diagnosing his car with a broken pillow block which left Corky to have a relatively lonely race in 3rd and he finished up with 35.42 laps.

The win for Bob means that he has won three out of the four races in the first month of the Autumn Championship, but Chris leads with Bob having missed last week’s F1 round. Chris has 182 points from 2nd placed Trev on 166 and Bob is 3rd with 150.
