The track was a bit sticky for tonight’s Saloon racing, causing a few setup problems. Needs cleaning before next weeks F1. In qualy, Bob came out on top again but was some 6 ½ laps down on the record with a total of 109.66. Kev pushed him close, only 9 parts back with 109.57 and 3rd was Corky, looking very quick but struggled with inconsistent handling, and Chris made up the A final on 105.92 also with inconsistent handling. That left Mick, Christopher Trev and Mike to contest the B final with Roger missing out, his car looks quick at times but bad luck did for him tonight.
In the B final, Mick drove a very steady race at the front most of the way to record a race win and 5th overall. It won’t be long before he’s contesting A finals again. His car is quick and his driving getting steadier - most of the time ! His winning total of 35.47 was over 2 laps ahead of Mike’s 2nd place with 33.23 with Christopher 3rd on 32.85 and Trev 3rd with 32.00.
 The A final was a bit of a crash fest. Kev took an early lead but dropped back with a couple of ‘offs’. Bob and Corky took over in front and battled away for a minute or so before a ‘coming together’ on the kick back and a bit of ‘ponderous’ marshalling let Kev back through into the lead. Kev held on for the late part of the race to take the win by 67 parts with 36.36, Corky snook into 2nd with 35.69 from Bob 16 bits back with 35.53. Chris couldn’t get his car to handle on Blue and trailed in 4th with 34.21.

With two more rounds to go in this Championship, Chris has a slender lead of 2 points over Bob. Chris has 414 points to Bob’s 412. The only other driver in contention is Kev on 398 in 3rd spot.
